Had a great dinner with our daughter. The chef made her something to nibble on (baked patatoes) after the pidgon she really enjoyed. The staff is very friendly

Errr, wow. Not the cheapest out there but for a special occasion it's a glorious wee place: a true diamond in the rough (sorry Cupar). The ingredients is locally sourced, the dishes are cleverly constructed and the taste is sensational (particularly if you're a meat lover). Go, treat yourself.

A very small family run restaurant, did I say small? It can hold maybe 20 people or so. It has been running for about 37 yrs. And I hope for many more. The food is excellent, the detail and care taken shows. Because it can hold so few Booking is a must, and to them every plate counts! You will be rewarded. There is variety to Chose from a small cleverly crafted menu that will include fish and meats. The ambience is intimate, expect to spend approx 50 a head wine.

A wee family owned with the most brilliant and attentive serviced I have experienced in Scotland. They made a menu just for us and that tops any restaurant anywhere. Beware Michelin star joints, this one doesn't need a star and is better than you.
