Summits Wayside Tavern - Cumming

The place is dark and everything is sticky. It's very loud and the menus had stuff stuck on it. We got wings and fish chips. The fish was chewy, which it's not supposed to be, my fork couldn't cut through it. The server was nice but the male manager that came over gaslighted me, questioning the validity of my claim. I told him I picked up the piece that my fork couldn't cut through, and I couldnt pull it apart with my fingers either. It seemed old/dry and I wasn't gonna risk getting sick. That is NOT how fish should be! The bathroom is like a gas station bathroom too btw. Won't be back to this dive.

Great place to grab a sandwich and a beer! So many beers on tap it makes it difficult to choose!! I will be sure to stop agin when I’m in the area!!

Great atmosphere, great service. I ordered the Inferno Burger , but there was very little inferno to it. Other than the lack of heat, the burger was delicious, perfectly cooked and the garlic fries were incredible. The sweet tea was excellent as well. I will be going back.

The closest place we have to a traditional tavern. Great selection of food and snacks, over a hundred beer, ales, and ciders. If you like sports, they have dozens of tvs bringing the latest games. Try the pastrami and reuben sandwiches.

Took a friend there after raving about it to him and it was all around a bad experience. The pretzel was amazing but my chicken cordon bleu came out drowning in ranch. The bun was soggy by the time it was on the plate and I could only get myself to eat one bite. You would think the server would have asked if everything was alright. All we wanted to was leave and my server came back with my signed receipt and said I did my math wrong for the tip portion. After looking at it I noticed he changed the 5 to a 6. Was so appalled I just walked out never to return
