I would have given Food and Service 5 stars right up to my entree. I had the Pasta Primavera and chose Scallops (not on the menu, but they had them). This turned a $25 entree into a $30 entree, but I like scallops and love Primavera. Unfortunately, the only discernible flavor was the green pepper. Very bland. Even the pan seared scallops had little flavor. I left most of the dish uneaten and did not box it up to take home. This is where our service failedalthough she was made aware the dish was not as expected and left mostly uneaten, she made no attempts to correct the problem. It’s such a shame because this was the first time my wife and I had been to Fratelli, and it was our 26th anniversary. We raved about our luck in finding this gem right up until the entrees, my wife’s 16oz steak was just OK. Oh well. The best food in town, the quality and consistency is on point. By far, the best crab cakes and crab dip in the area. The scampi never disappoints and the NY Strip will feed you for days. The house salad with feta is a winner and those specialty pizzas are incredible, too. One of my favorites in Cumberland/Lavale. Excellent food, service and ambience. The best waiting staff ever!
