Country Cafe - Culpeper

I ordered the barbecue sandwich with Cole Slav and Pommes (about $7 and a diet coke. They bring a glass of ice and the soda in a can! The sandwich was a Hamburger bungalow, with pork grill on the top ( sauce on the side). The rabbit was roasted (it was a little beaten during toasting, but was still good and there was no fat in that pork! Lean and mean! The plentiful side of the Koleslaw (required with grill! was excellent! Mint cabbage / carrots in a creamy sweet Mayo dressing.... the best I had, EVER, in a restaurant! The fries were the fries, and were hot and delicious! Daughter Jennifer got the beef plant soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. The soup, which was more of the consistency of a beef stew, was delivered in a large bowl and was stuffed with vegetables and stews! Grilled cheese sandwich around the soup bowl, along with 4 salinine crackers! She said it was really good! Jim got the club sandwich (ham, turkey, bacon with one side of Crinkle Cut Fries. Delin meat was fresh and the bacon was crisp. He said he really enjoyed it... it looked good too! Very satisfied with our lunch visit to this cozy south joint!

Found Country Cafe as a half way to meet friends for Christmas! Couldn't meet for a better place!! Great breakfast and great service!! This will definitely be somewhere where we often visit!! Thanks to the staff for the warm welcome! Merry Christmas

My friend and I decided to try this little cafe for breakfast and was not disappointed. The food was fresh, fast and delicious and the service was friendly. I felt that the staff went out to create a warm and welcoming experience that you would expect from a small town of Diner/Cafe. They asked our names and I even got a beautiful bouquet when we left. I'm definitely back.

Delicious food, fast service and staff went beyond and beyond to offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Will stop eating here again when I go through Culpepper! Your freshly baked cookies were an additional bonus!

The breakfast is yummy and the staff is nice. I would recommend.
