Bidrage med feedbackWe ate on the outside terrace one evening last week The staff were friendly and helpful even with my limited French and their limited English. They do not have any set menus so we picked from the carte which was reasonably priced as was the pitcher of wine. If you just want a casual no frills meal this is the ideal place.
If you are looking for a friendly and unexpensive restaurant with a lovely terrasse in the shade in the summer time, "Les Pieds sur Terre" is definitely a good choice : their menu is rather varied , their aioli served every Friday lunch time is quite tasty, and their desserts are rather inventive. A good deal in many ways !
The food is typically French but with an individual twist- all home made and nice quality. An enormous salad of tartare of scallops (got to be good to serve them raw) and smoked salmon for 15€ and the South of France summer classic Aiöli 16€. Nothing is pushed on you - quite the opposite - we were offered wine by the pichet (jug) rather than the wine list which is quite unusual. Total bill for 2, two courses with wine and coffee c. 50€. The terrace is superb because it is totally covered by vines making it cool and shady and romantic all at once. We first ate here a year ago and the quality hasn't altered and neither has the warm welcome.
