Hardwood Smokehouse Crystal River

Visiting the area after first meal , went back again. One of those best kept secrets tucked in the mall beside Rural King. Great food both times! A special homemade peach cobbler. Service I experienced was exceptional both times. I highly recommend you try this place.

In a dead mall. The restaurant is fairly large, so I would use this for large groups. If I were bringing a large group, I would let them know a day or two in advance. The BBQ was good. The baked beans are worth ordering. The green beans were OK, but not great. There's endless parking and a not great atmosphere, but the servers work well.

Great food. Super friendly staff. It was super busy everywhere. This place is a hidden gem.

This is the best local BBQ place hands down. Don't waste your time somewhere else. I had to come back 2 days in a row to get the complete menu. The burned ends and the bands are amazing. The corn cakes are also incredible. This is so good!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's live this place!! Family owned and operated. Feels like cooking at home.

I went for the brisket!!! When Texas transplantation I was not disappointed, even the sauces were great! The Koleslawe was also delicious. I didn't eat, but they have cabins and the atmosphere is like a casual bar and barbecue. The staff was very nice.
