Bidrage med feedbackAncient Antigua in Crystal Lake is an excellent restaurant that probably needs more wait staff. The food was very good; however, when the wait staff seemed overworked; yet, really tried hard to respond to the overwhelming demand of the diners, you know that it is time to consider more help. I really felt sorry for our waiter; he really hustled without ever losing his cool. The recipes and style of the items are different from the run of the mill eateries of Mexican cuisine available in Florida where I live; however, I did enjoy these variations on the themes (always a desirable attribute in my book. If I lived here, I would look forward to variations to try! TIP: the portions are massive; hence, SHARE (which also allows your to sample more options... The frozen Margarita machine was broken; but, on the rocks style was OK.
Our absolute favorite place for Mexican food in the area! The food is always fantastic and we always leave stuffed. Our favorites would have to be the spicy cucumber margarita, steak tortas and the verde enchiladas! On top of fantastic food, the staff is absolutely wonderful. A big shout out to Christian for great service every time we come in (he also makes the best margaritas!! . We always have the best time and meal when we stop for lunch or dinner!
Food is upright delicious. I ordered enchiladas and came with rice and beans. There drinks are tasty (over 21+ and the salsa is bomb. Service was good and interactive.Food: 5/5

This review is for takeout only. I 'll preface this by saying I 'm pescatarian don 't eat meat but eat fish and vegetarian food so I 've only tried the vegetable burrito dinner, I love how the vegetable option comes with plenty of peppers and chopped onions, lettuce, plenty of cheese and sour cream, a tad of rice and beans and a hefty sized tortilla! Portions are large and can last me two meals. I love the rice and beans! My only complaint is that sometimes my burrito comes out perfect and other times is 80% cooked onions and 5 pepper slices, other times the peppers don 't seem to be cooked enough. Same with the sour cream and cheese, it 's a hit or miss and sometimes my burrito is PERFECT and other times they 've forgotten the cheese and sour cream which is a bummer : otherwise they 're super quick and my order is always warm when we pick it up and everyone is nice! I 'll still continue to order from Antigua because it 's near by and the food can be great at times. Hopefully they can expand their vegetarian options and consistency issues.
