Starr Hill Brewery - Crozet

I went in to get a growler filled at 8 pm or so. Plenty of people at tables, chatting with each other, sports on the TV, Pink Floyd on the stereo, but no one at the counter. I waited through the whole guitar solo (Pink Floyd, remember-those solos last a while) and saw no employees. I walked out, empty growler and all, and went to Pro Re Nata instead.

Went on a Sunday. Terrible bar tender. Could have been a lot better. Hire someone who knows how to talk to customers.

Fun place! Really enjoyed the variety of beer and friendly service. Sunburn was our favorite, but the margarita sour was a close second.

Bummer. Pulled this up on Google Maps yesterday (7/31) and said opened at 1:00pm. Now I’m standing here at 1:55pm wondering who updated Google or Starr Hill. I guess I will never know. WS really looking forward after riding my Harley for two plus hours. Guess Vets never get a break!

Solid beer, solid hangs. The staff is always cool/chill. We frequently strike up conversation with kind strangers. Starr Hill also has a great history in the craft beer/microbrewing industry.
