Castella Fish - Croydon

The best fish and chips in South London bar none. They just recently refurbished the place after maintaining the same interior since 1963 and it's simply stunning. You cannot go wrong here. A true gem within Croydon.

Wow! The food at Castella's was amazing. We bought fish chips for my Nan's 88th birthday, and she's typically very fussy, but we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. We were really impressed with the generous portion sizes. The service was also excellent – The gentleman who served me was very friendly and even gave me a couple of chips while I waited. I'll definitely be back to Castellas :

Beat fish and chips I had miles around. we sat and ate and the service was very good, even gave us a few chips while we waited for our order. nothing was too much annoyed for us. had a small sign with sauces, lemon and gherkins too. will definitely come back!

The food is very fresh and tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes fish and chips. There is a friendly atmosphere and the manager is very kind, friendly and polite. The food is reasonably priced and value for money

This place is definitely worth trying for their fish and chips! They serve a generous, crispy, fresh piece of cod, lightly battered, along with a large portion of chips. It comes with homemade tartar sauce, two gherkins, and a wedge of lemon—all for just £8. Wow, it was delicious! Plus, the service is always friendly and smiling.
