Caffe Nero - Croydon

Great staff. Cosy. But the music is always TOO LOUD in the mornings. fine later in the day). People then talk more loudly and the whole environment gets loud. Worse still is you can't block out the music if it is something you don't like as it is foregroud rather background.

Relaxing place for a quiet coffee, or somewhere for a sanwich or pastry. A choice of dining height tables or comfy chairs (albeit some are a bit worn) with coffee tables.

I went there to grab a Large Cappuccino on my way to an appointment. They made the coffee and went out. When I took my first sip then I realised that the milk has not been frothed properly and it was not their usual standard. I could not comeback straightaway as I was getting late for my appointment, but after the meeting I went back to the shop and complained about my coffee. The lady did not know how to handle complains so he asked her supervisor who said if the coffee was not nice then why did you drink it and I told him that I was getting late for my meeting and could not comeback straightaway but I have come to you now to give you some feedback but the supervisor kept saying the same thing again and again that why did I drink the coffee if it was not good, not understanding that I needed my coffee shot before the meeting that was I drank it no matter how bad it was. Anyways, I would suggest to check your drinks before you leave the shop otherwise you will end up wasting time and money like me.

Caffe Nero located near Croydon East railways station and so quite crowded. Anyway, there is a good turn over and so it is possible to find some free seats. Standard quality of caoffe as in others Caffe Nero.

Had a coffee in here and managed to sit down and enjoy it while sitting on a comfy sofa at the back of the coffee house. Nice little Cappuccino experience.
