Prime Steakhouse - Crown Point

This is my second time in this restaurant. eating is great and reasonable; the service is great and a very friendly environment. I would definitely be back and recommend it.

Came into here with the wife for date night deserts after having some delicious sushi upstairs our waitress recommended prime steakhouses deserts . No surprise her recommendation as spot on. The desert options here are bountiful and delicious. All of the staff members here are very welcoming and friendly. Couple the excellent service with the classic theme of the steakhouse makes for a fantastic experience. We will definitely becoming back to try out the dinner menu!

Amazing food, great server and hostess. I got the porterhouse medium and it was perfectly cooked, waitress was personable and had fun with us. We come out to crown point once a year for a locally held charity even. this was the first time we ate here, but we will definitely be back!

Not impressed, sorry. One half of one slice of tomato for my salad . My high priced burger was not well done as requested, unless pink in the middle is the new well done. I even said no blood. The ribs were very tender, but the sauce was just barely above average at best. To top it off have you ever heard of a gift certificate that expires in nine months? They do here! It expired four days ago and they wouldn't honor it. Not a good first impression. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that cares about their customers. I won't be going back.

The food has definitely gone downhill over the years. It used to be good but not anymore. As many people mentioned the tables are packed in. My husband and I were seated in the corner and we had a couple next to us and we might as well have pushed our tables together. We spoke to them most of dinner. My husbands salad was dead when it came out. He sent it back. I ordered a chicken sandwich that came with lettuce and they gave me a handful of salad mix. The couple next to us ordered a special that was crab stuffed whitefish and the portions were laughable for the 45 price tag. He even asked the server where the rest of it was. It was maybe 5 bites on his plate. The one thing they have going for them is dessert. The best carrot cake around but we've been told that comes from a bakery in Chicago. There are so many better places to dine in the area.
