Lefty's Barbecue - Crossville

The pinto beans and corn cakes ate to die for..onion rings are a must they are home made and relish. If you live in the area don't forget Lefty's BBQ.

Didn't seem like a barbecue joint, more like a smorgasbord from days gone past renovated. The service was fast and the food was hot, but it wasn't the greatest barbecue I've ever eaten. It wasn't bad, just wasn't great.

Amazing ribs, fall off the bone with just enough smoke! The fried okra was crisp and not soggy, and the tater salad was delicious! The owner even dropped off some extra ends he had left over. Will make this a regular stop!

Ribs over cooked and very dry and reheated way to many times. Bbq sandwich was very bland and the bun was grilled with fake rancid butter oil. $24 down the tube. Will NEVER return.

Family Friendly. We try to go out and experience new things, and one of the people in my party had only two things she was looking for. BBQ and onion ring. So I began to look on the internet for a place in our area that would be unique, have what we wanted and then I came across Lefty's BBQ. As soon as we opened the car doors we were greeted with the most delicious aroma of meat smoking. Instantly the way the smoke me feel left no doubt that I was hungry for some good BBQ. Walking inside we looked over the little lobby area and were quickly seated. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and eager to make our dining experience the best it could be. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with two sides, I wanted the hand dipped onion rings and baked potato. The food service was quick, and the BBQ sauce sits on your table you have a choice of hot or mild. I ate the mild which was very smooth and not over overpoweringly sweet. One of the party members ordered the short ribs, baked beans, onion rings and Cole slaw. She sad the beans were very good and the ribs were cook perfectly tender, falling off the bone. I give hte place a A+ for the food, very nicely done and my only regret is I didn't give in and get a slice of the pecan pie they offer as one of the dessert items. Would I go back to Lefty's BBQ, absolutely. I especially liked the touch of the manager/owner coming around and greeting us and asking how things were, very nice and to me it gave the feel that they cared what their customers thought. I would recommend Lefty's BBQ.
