Order on your phone. Food came out fast everything was great!

I like cold noodles, grilled skewers and spicy hotpot. It would be better if the skewers were grilled a little more dry. The spiciness of the spicy hotpot is a bit unstable. Last time it was medium spicy, but this time it was medium spicy. (It does not affect the fact that this restaurant is the most affordable and delicious Sichuan cuisine in the Allston area, and the mapo tofu is especially delicious)

Bbq items are good and service is good. Long wait for food and table. Mala broth is superb though with the restaurant name being Mala.

June 2024: Party of 2 Enjoyed the meal. While it wasn't extraordinary, it was still splendid. This is definitely a place for meat lovers, as there's a lack of vegetarian dishes. They have an interesting system where you order everything on your phone, and then the meal is brought to you—my first time experiencing this. The string beans were perfectly seasoned, with a nice earthy flavor and slight char. The dish with lots of red peppers was good, though a bit drier than expected. The fried rice was a 3/5, and the dumplings were a 4/5, as I heard they were quite juicy.

The food here is AUTHENTIC to the T! I am a Sichuan woman, and this is the best Sichuan food I have ever eaten outside of Sichuan! Recommended to the sisters: hot kidneys, roasted beef brisket, and sour cowpeas!
