Cute coffee shop in the South End! They brew Gracenote coffee (local Boston roaster . I got a lumberjack latte which had maple syrup and salted foam it was so good! Shockingly not overly sweet and the saltiness of the foam was a nice touch. I also got a mini lemon muffin which had a lemon jammy center and pieces of candied lemon (I think? throughout, very tasty. My SO got a cinnamon roll and said it was in his top 3 cinnamon rolls ever. I 'm not sure whether they make their pastries in house but regardless, they were GOOD.The shop is on the slightly smaller end but I think had a good number of seats. The decor is bright and the big sunny windows made for a really cozy vibe. And big plus there 's a small parking lot on the premises.
So wanted to do some work and have breakfast before I headed to an appointment. Wanted a cute cup of coffee but got a to go cup. Ok thats fine but they burned my croissant, made me wait almost 10 minutes to take my order while I could hear the other employees in the back gossiping about Kim K! Another customer literally came up to the counter and yelled EXCUSE me to get some help. I'll try that next t I me. Yet they have the nerve to turn that IPAD around for a tip!! This culture has to stop. They want a tip for doing a job but doing it badly might I add while earning a regular wage. I have no issue tipping for good service but don't expect a tip when you are not putting in any customer service effort in a customer service industry!! I won't be returning. Tired of spending my hard earned money for mediocrity.
Since we out here boycotting starbies, it was my sole mission to find amazing coffee shops during my visit to Boston. Listen, I'm basic. Especially in the fall. I want pumpkin spice everything! And this right here y'all. *chefs kiss* now, it's no PSL but damn it was pretty good! I literally chugged this and I'm usually afraid of the coffee rush but it wasn't bad at all. Def recommend if you are from the area!
This is one of my favorite cafés. The coffee selection for hot and iced options are great. The pastry is amazing and there is always something new to try.I enjoy bringing my laptop to get some work done when I want to get out of the house and can also take my kids on the weekend for a sweet treat. The staff are kind and always have a suggestion when I can't pick which coffee I want. In the summer, there is a patio to hang out on and it is dog friendly. The marshmallow krispy, cinnamon buns, black and white cookie, and Red Line smoothies are some of my favorite orders.Kid-friendliness: There are kid-friendly menu items. I take my small children there often.
