12 Handles Ale House - Crest Hill

Been coming here for a couple of years. The food is always good, and the service is typically great as well. They always have an unusual draft beer selection, which is fun, but I do wish they had one or two main stream draft beers (like Blue Moon) for those of us are not huge micro Brew fans. And a better wine selection. And that's the reason for the 4, not 5, stars.

Atmosphere is great. Large selection of beer and drinks very good! Service was very slow, seemed servicer had at least half of the restaurant and couldn't keep up despite his best efforts. All of the servers and staff were friendly and seemed to do their best. Our server took quite a while to get us our drink order and take our food order, I would say we wanted 15 20 minutes before we ordered everything. When we wanted more drinks it took him a few times for him to remember what we had ordered because he had so many tables I assume. Food was REALLY good and came out as fast as expected. Stuffed mushrooms were delicious! We would definitely go back here again next time we are in the area!

Very good food. the staff is young and new, but very nice. many drinks, be galore on tap and bottle crafts. Live music, much tw, children's menu. all about a great new place in the city. I'm going weekly to try more items. daily fresh suppen. great chefs! fresh ingredients! great burger nachos must have big enough for 4-6 people! specials daily.

Great food and service. we came for a late dinner, smaller amount, but the waiter was extremely friendly and not grasped as u had to order special. they have some local brew and ipas, so we were satisfied with the bar! I had dinner before, but it was my first time to eat here. her pizza is also great! very happy with everything. a

Large selection of food and drinks. they have a large selection of ales and apple wines on tap and in bottles. everything I ordered was great with covered servers. that is one of the best restaurants in the city. the prices vary but are very reasonable and they have larger parts.
