Costa Coffee - Crawley

Wednesday 4th August and we came here early morning for a coffee. The branch is located on the ground floor in County Mall. The young guy who took our order, while very polite, was not very competent, easily flustered, in fairness he could have been new to the job. We ordered to flat whites, which were £2.90 each. Our coffees were what we have come to expect from Costa, good and we were enjoying them. Sadly the peace and quiet was shattered as a number of unruly children rampaged through the shop with their parents totally oblivious or not bothered.

Visited this branch 10 times. I thought I'll give them a chance to improve, before I say something. Coffee always cold, room temperature. I'm having same coffee for past 12 years and it's for sure worst branch. So after 10 visits I specifically requested extra hot and it's even colder than usually. No froth just cold milk topped up with coffee. To warm up the milk for staff takes around 3 seconds only. Can I ask branch manager to remind staff to use thermometer. I understand I'm coming when you guys start closing down, but with 4 staff members on shift is not that hard to wash 1 thing, or just warm up milk in take away cup and just throw away.

Not so keen on the social distancing but staff were friendly and helpful in a well organised restaurant and clean toilet

Laura the assistant manager is worse manager I have seen costa so far . Customer service is so lacking and no empathy. I have decided not to come here but had to stop this occasion. Not surprised that every time I visit that they have terrible service never would visit again. Should’ve stocked to my instincts.

Stopped by to get a glass of milk and didn't know where else to get one in all honesty. Bar staff stepped up and were wonderful about it. Bathroom was not very clean but otherwise was great.
