Coaching Halt - Crawley

Local to hotel am staying in quite and had 3 meals in there all been **** ordered a Chinese online tonight

The food was appalling service so slow not enough people behind the bar. Dreadful

We've lived in the area since August 2023 and not yet ventured to the Coaching Halt, despite it being a 15 minute walk from our home. We decided to give it a go on Valentines Day. We had no expectations and pleasantly surprised with how lovely everything was. From being greeted at the front desk all the way through to getting the bill, the team were wonderful. The food was lovely too I had the baked feta to start and sirloin steak as main, my partner had chicken liver pate to start and steak americano for main. Food was lovely. Served hot and in a timely manner. Nothing was unavailable which is even better! We were looked after by two ladies, Tracy and Nicole who were both absolutely lovely. Super welcoming, so friendly and wonderfully pleasant! We'll be back!

Me my wife attended here for the first time in February 2024 along with my best friend and his wife. Parking was easy and convenient directly outside the venue. We had made a late booking and were seated immediately where we were served by Tracey. Tracey was absolutely excellent throughout the service despite being rushed off her feet along with the other staff with a very busy Friday night and only two chefs in the kitchen. Despite the staff having their own battles, the food was served in good time and to a high quality with all of us enjoying the two shared boards and then our own main meals. Could not fault a single thing on the night.

Great menu and tasty food, staff very friendly and tentative. Especially Tracey who went above and beyond for us, she is a credit to the place, we will 100% be back.
