Applebee's Grill - Crawfordsville

I’m back to change my review from a few years ago. This place used to be terrible but now it’s turned around. Been here a few times lately and the service and food has been really good. Don’t be hesitant to come in and enjoy a meal.

I really like this place! The well mannered staff were not only quite friendly and very helpful without being pushy, but the prices seemed reasonable given the fine quality of the dishes we were served and the comfortable atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable.

As soon as we walked in the hostess was very rude to us. Yes we had a large group, but we called in advance and they said it was okay. We offered to wait for tables together, but she insisted that we just split up. Our group was very upset with this happening. She treated us like toddlers. So we went with the split, and then faced terrible service. We asked for silverware to eat our food, and it took over 10 minutes. It was upsetting to end our night with such bad treatment for simply giving business. Sooner after we got our food, another large group came in and were treated very kind. They allowed them to sit together, and did not split the group up. Very upsetting. Not coming here for awhile. Not giving a tip for this treatment.

Bad luck, the meat was not half cooked (raw). I expected an apology he changed the dish, but they didn 't even offer that to me...

Fast friendly hostesses at the hostess stand, sat me promptly. My server, was 6 months pregnant but that did not stop her from being attentive to all of her tables, giving awesome fast, friendly and polite service. The food came fast and was very good. I would definitely go back to this location again.
