Miss Cranston Diner

Their omelets were pretty good! I really enjoyed my Buongiorno Omelette because of the melted cheese that wrapped around every bite did it for me. I love cheesy omelets ! My one thing is I wish I received more homes-fries because their home fries were seasoned well. This place has to be one of the best spots so far. Downside is it can be a bit expensive for takeout and it looks like with dining in the experience here may be better for some folks.

I ordered the 'Healthy Breakfast ', as Miss Cranston calls it on their menu. It consists of a 4 egg white only(no yolks) rolled up omelette, fresh fruit cup containing canteloupe, green honeydew melon slices, and grapes, and two of the best whole grain pancakes I have ever eaten. I don 't use any butter on top, but just a little pancake syrup. These whole grain pancakes are very light in texture, but big on flavor. You also get your choice of 2 slices of turkey bacon or turkey sausage This plate costs about $12, but I think it 's worth the money. This meal will give you plenty of energy, and doesn 't weight one down, like after eating regular buttermilk pancakes. I had the same dish last Sunday also, and enjoyed it so much that I ordered it again today. The service is great, even though I think they could be a little short staffed for cooks, as wait to receive food after ordering was about 45 minutes, and the waitress Jody, came by to apologize that the wait was so long. My wife had a conventional western omelette with toast, and home fries for about $10. The portions are large and you can bring them home in a 'doggie bag ' , if you don 't finish it all. The total cost was $28,10, plus a $5.00 tip for the waitress. Total:$33.10. A great meal at a fair price. If you haven 't tried Miss Cranston Diner, you 're missing out on great meals. They also serve lunch and dinner daily also, I believe. There something for every one at Miss Cranston Diner!

If you haven't been here it's time to try something new! They have great choices for breakfast and lunch, you are sure to win no matter what. I have liked everything I've ever tried. My favorites are french toast, home fries and the omlettes are delish. I had lunch from there today the fries are crunchy and aren't all wimpy and fake like some places and the California Chicken Wrap is the perfect combo. It's my go to sandwich...Grilled chicken, sliced avocados, diced tomato, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon and a little honey mustard. I should have got two! I could be eating one right now...Cranston Diner is a must.

Breakfast and Lunch place only open from 6:30 'til 2:00. One of the few places you can get biscuits and gravy and fish and chips every day. Excellent eggs. Fast turn around for orders. Outstanding service.
