Pizza House Pizza Chef - Cranford

Delicious well made thin crust pizza. Great attention to detailed instructions. My favorite is the thin plane with sesame crust. Nice sauce to cheese ratio. I live in Garwood and search locally best in the area for delivery, in my opinion. Thank you. House Pizza Chef!

I almost decided not to write this post because I want to keep this place as my own little secret, but OH MY GOODNESS. Best fucking pizza. It is thinner than thin and so crispy. The sauce is not too salty as a few places and there is also not too much cheese. (Although I'm sure you could order it if you like it. It's real pizza that reminds me to be a kid in Brooklyn. Even if I order to taste on the pizza, they seem to taste better than in other places - they just know how to cook their pizza! All I ordered was done well. Well worth what they demand and I wouldn't go away from three blocks, but I usually order delivery anyway. I wish they were open on Sundays so that I could order this food for my family when they visit the city or when I have meetings after the church, but oh well. I really can't say nice enough about this place. The staff is also friendly. Please make pizza forever and do not change your recipe or the way you do it!

I only eat pizza when it is made with a whole wheat crust. I was glad to discover that Pizza House Pizza Chef offered whole wheat cake. Each pizza is made to order and you can observe every step if that is important to you. The crust was thin and the sauce was tasteful. I'm also a vegetarian, and while they only had a few toppings I had, it was enough to make a delicious pizza. The seating area was small and not air-conditioned, which was good for us because it was not a hot day and they kept the door open. We also had a 20-month toddler, so we did the casual feeling of the place.

I have lived in the area for over 20 years, and never knew this place was here... but I am glad I found it. Some of the best Pizza in NJ nice crust, not soggy and not overcooked. Great white pies and more traditional. The place is not fancy, but the staff are friendly, the service personal, and the pies are great. I'll be keeping them on my phone for takeout!
