The Oil Ring - Crane

This is the Second time I called for a Pick up order and the first time they stated they were not cooking anything at the time and it was 2 hours before close and the second time I called for a pick up order and they stated they only had 3 items available out of 20+, 1 of is not on the menu. What??

Horrible experience the server was uninformative (I asked for a beer and she stated I needed to be at the bar for drinks) not that I had to order myself from the bar then would be able to bring them to my table) had the cheese sticks served plain no marinara or dipping sauce? Then I ordered the big boy burger which in the description it was brisket and hamburger meat I guess I got a preformed burger something like that you could get from Sam’s or Walmart. Did not taste like brisket at all taste like trash especially for 14$ Asked for green chili and cheese on the Burger it came covered in jalapeños…… when asked where is my green chili she went back to the kitchen came back and informed me if they’re ever out of green chili they just substitute with jalapeños. green chili and jalapeños are two different animal altogether…. My associate ordered the hot wings when they came out they were basically chicken nuggets covered in sauce I wish I could get a -5 review this place was horrible.

Burger is good. Mixed drinks not so much, I've ordered a cucumber chilton and they just can't seem to get it right after 3 times I've ordered it in different occasions. The queso has been salty not very tasty. Asado was ok spicy but lacked authentic flavors. Potato salad not fresh taste store bought. Had pancakes for breakfast in another occasion snd it just tasted like flour and water batter. Brisket sandwich is ok not very flavorful. Great live music when they have it! Great place to just have a beer.

I got some biskets gravy. the gravy was bland biskets were hard/over cooked

The food is really really good. Comfort food for a good price. Our favorite is the loaded brisket potato skins! Just wish the kitchen wasn't closed so often.But I appreciate their efforts to bring something different to our small town.
