ABC Country Restaurant - Cranbrook

The waitress was extremely friendly and polite when we arrived at the restaurant. She was attentive and provided excellent service. Our food was served promptly and was delicious, with great prices. My fiancé was pleased with our waitress, leaving her a $25 tip. The restroom was exceptionally clean, the best I've ever seen in a restaurant. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in Cranbrook.

As usual my friend and I have been coming here the same time of year for 7 years now. We always go to AbC for breakfast. Debbie is still serving there and the food is always top notch and reasonably priced.

I am a Newfie so I ordered the fish and chips cod I have been having a hard time finding good fish and chips since we moved here last year, and let me tell you this was one of the best. I am definitely a regular customer now! This was my first time here, but definitely not my last. I highly recommend this place. The server was very friendly, and knowledgeable! Great atmosphere!!!

Wanted at early start and they open at 7 AM. Had the eggs Benedict (benny in Canada). Well prepared with good sauce. Waitress attentive and friendly. Coffee good.

Cranbrook is known for its lack of dining options. After asking for restaurant recommendations at the hotel front desk and receiving no suggestions, I drove down the main road lined with mostly fast food joints. However, I came across ABC Country Restaurant with a full parking lot, and assumed it must be a local favorite. Indeed, I was correct! Despite not being featured on popular TV shows, the food at this restaurant was tasty and affordable. The service was professional and I was satisfied with my meal, especially the pot roast. I learned that they offer discounts for seniors, but the waitress mentioned that the portions might be smaller. I rate them as average because they are honest about not pretending to be something they are not.
