Ribs Burgers Craigieburn

It was my first time visiting the Craigieburn branch and I was shocked to see how busy it was at 9pm. There was still a line to order but it moved quickly. We ordered the lamb ribs with apple salad and the baby back ribs with chips. The food came out quite fast which was good as I was hungry! The chips were crispy and fluffy on the inside. The salad was nice and refreshing, and crunchy. The lamb ribs were juicy and fatty (a little sickening for myself by the end of it but that expected with lamb). The pork ribs were very soft and almost fell off the bone, could’ve done with a little more basting. I think ribs and burgers has some of the best ribs for its price in Melbourne.

With a name like Ribs Burgers, you probably wouldn’t expect too much, but this place is in fact a pleasant surprise. <br/ <br/ The main attraction here are the ribs themselves. They’re incredibly tender and drizzled with just the perfect amount of sauce; not too much nor little. It’s definitely some of the best I’ve had in Melbourne. The sweet potato fries are fried crisp while the dipping sauces compliment them very well. I do not recommend the mediocre burgers however. There are far better in Melbourne, but they still beat what is around the area. <br/ <br/ The service is prompt and friendly while the environment could be a bit cleaner. Sauce bottles and the tables are sometimes sticky as they haven’t been cleaned properly. <br/ <br/ Overall, I would say this is one of the rare places in the Northern suburbs where you’ll find good food. Highly recommended for the ribs alone.

Lovely location bang in the middle of Craigieburn Central. Beautiful ribs and equally good burger. The place was quite a bit packed but the service was quite prompt and attentive. Definitely recommended.

Went to ribs and burgers and it was enjoyable and quite filling. I ordered the crispy chicken with no onion but with bacon and swiss cheese. It ended up being oily but satisfying. The chicken wasn't overdone and it was everything I asked for. My parter ordered the grilled chicken blat and woah was that was a lot of stringy cheese but he seemed to enjoy it. We also ordered a side of chips... oh I love the pink sauce! Overall it was delicious and I'd return.<br/ <br/ EDIT: I did return and ordered the bacon and cheese with an extra pattie and was not disappointed. It was everything I wanted in a burger. Juicy but not too messy, cheesy and meaty. I also got the milo milkshake. My partner tasted it and immediately wanted ordered another! Will be back.<br/ <br/ Update: I visited again on 12.02.19 and still this chain does not disappoint. My partner and I shared a rack of beef ribs and the meat was so tender and fell off the bone. Love it every time I come here.

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant, even though it's a bit of a drive. The food never disappoints us. The signature chips are truly fantastic, which is why they're so well-known.
