Yo Nashi - Cozumel

Best scallop I have ever eaten. The quality of the food was absolute top notch. 7 employees and 14 seats great attention to detail. Chef was approachable and welcoming. Slightly rushed, but it was NYE and the quality was absolutely tops! Also very accommodating my wife's vegetarian in the highest respect. Thank you.

Talk about appropriation … this is a place where hipsters can project their affinity of Japanese culture. Nothing culinary fine about it.

As a whole they serve a good meal, but the nigirizushi is unimaginative and comparable to any other basic sushi spot you would find in town.

I found Yo Nashi to be the most frustrating sort of place. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was outstanding either. There were a couple stand out dishes the night I went, but much of the menu is meh. Especially the sushi. For a place that calls itself omakase, the sushi was incredibly underwhelming.
