The American Sector - Cozumel

This was my second time visiting New Orleans and knew I had to come back to this restaurant. This was my favorite place last time and it was still my favorite this time. The food and drinks are out of this world. For a smaller restaurant that exists only as an extension of a museum, this food rivals any food in New Orleans. Mediocre food but semi-captive audience prices with slow service. Not offered a soda refill although out before food arrived.

I enjoyed the food and experience, just wished the portions would have been a little bigger.

We were visited the WWII War Museum and stopped in to have a meal. I ordered the seared salmon with kale and beets. The salmon was done perfectly and the beets and kale were very good. Their shrimp poor boy looked appetizing as well. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased.

We went to the American Sector restaurant at the WWII museum on the 12th December 2022. We got a nice sitting by the window. Our waitress Patricia was very helpful, attentive and efficient. The food was nice too, I had a small bowl of soup du jour and chicken diablo, my husband had a veg burger with fries. Coffee was good with as many refills as you want. It was one of the better restaurants we ate at in New Orleans. Thank you.
