Mulate's The Original Cajun - Cozumel

Food 2/5, (shrimp in gumbo had a poop stripe, étouffeé tasted undercooked). It's edible, but should you do you want to eat it? Atmosphere 3/5, it's fine and fun; touristy. Service 5/5, bless these people, they work hard and really care about their diners.

The food was cold, and the red beans and rice were awful.

They were incredibly busy at the time we came in but we waited for a long time for the food. I ordered the three sample soups. then we ordered the oysters and omg, I wish we would have ordered more of those! Would come back!

Everything was delicious and worth it. We had pasta, grilled mussels, po boy and gumbo
