Le Bayou Restaurant Oyster Bar

Waited for over an hour on a Sunday night. Didn’t get seated till 9:30. Server was great but rest was not great. Except for our server staff was unfriendly and seem like you’re bothering them. Food coming out was slow, drinks were small and weak. A bar that didn’t have simple syrup on Bourbon selling liquor, wth? Oyster came out over baked and shell too hot to touch. Food was not tasty. This restaurant is right on bourbon street and there is a little wait but the food as usual is super good!

Our bartender was amazing… And the food served there was phenomenal.

I tried a Po boy for the very first time and it was so delicious. The sauce La Bayou makes to go with the sandwich was so tasty I used it on my sandwich and as a dipping sauce for my fries. The breading and seasoning on the shrimp was just right. The only let down was the balcony was closed.

Found by accident but the food was amazing. Already planning a return visit
