La Antigua - COZUMEL

You will love this place if you enjoy a wonderful meal. I was so surprised and pleased. It's an easy 2 block walk south on 5 Avenue from the main square.

My wife and I visited this restaurant last night. It was empty at 6:30. We were a little nervous. Then Jennie came to our table speaking English. She is the Chef. We ordered the stuffed portabella mushrooms for 100 pesos. Fantastic !!! There were two on the plate and they were gigantic. We shared them, then order the Pesto pasta with chicken for 130 pesos. We shared that thinking we could order more. Ha!! With the basket of butter bread a coke cola we were stuffed (like the mushroom). We left a $5.00 tip making total bill $25.00. If you miss this place you missed it. Closed Sundays. The breakfast and lunch menu looked great!

Excelente lugar para comer, tiene ese sazón de casa, fuera de casa...100% recomendable, cuando estén en Isla Cozumel, no dejen de pasar y vayan a la Antigüa... está a unas calles del muelle del Ferri!

Lovely place with awesome food and service, looked to try them again in Jan 2015 and it has not been open during our stay. We were however greeted again by the most friendly black lab who keeps guard. :-)
