Applebee's Grill - Covington

I for the life of me can't figure out why this place has such a low rating. The food is always fresh, cooked exactly to order, seasoned and tastes great every single time. The restaurant is clean and very presentable. Appetizers come out fresh and fast. Main courses come out fresh and hot. I have no complaints with this spot. By far one of the better Applebee's I've been to.

The food was great. The last time I got the green beans, they were terrible, but not this time. Server was a little slow but I think that was due to them only have like 2 that I could see working. I will say it's dated on the inside..... the weird half circle booths are so gross looking and they play depressing music.

Bad service. Door was locked before 10pm and they close at 11pm. Called to asked if they were closed and employee said they were open that it must have been a malfunction with the door. Family wanted a nice dinner after the Ruffin and service was basically refused

I dont know why everyone hates this place? It's great

My sister her husband and I went around 11 30 am it was not very busy. We were seated after a few minutes. The server walked by us 5 or 6 times while we waited about 25 minutes and no one ever came to take a drink order or see if we wanted to order yet.
