Jumbo House - Coventry

I really enjoy dining at the Jumbo House, but the quality of the meat can be inconsistent. Sometimes it's good, but other times it's far too chewy. The ribs were especially disappointing and inedible.

Incredible takeout experience! We recently enjoyed one of the best Chinese takeout meals we've had in a while. The food was prepared quickly on a busy Saturday night and was steaming hot when we picked it up. It was also very reasonably priced. Our favorites were the beef curry and crispy chicken in sweet and sour sauce. Every dish, from the beef in black bean sauce to the prawn crackers, was fantastic. We highly recommend this place.

The ribs were very poor and bland, the portion of mixed fried rice was small, and the sweet and sour king prawns were tasteless. The chicken balls were okay but the sauce was bland. We paid £28 for two people and we will not be returning to this restaurant again.

Ordered £40 worth of Chinese and will not be ordered from here again. Chips tasted like they’d been heated at least 2 times. Chow mien had hard onions in not cooked through and no flavour at all. Salt and pepper chicken I’ve got no idea what they think this dish is but it was AWFUL. Worse Chinese I’ve had in a long long time. Used to be gorgeous a couple years back now so poor. Also didn’t get the usual free prawn crackers which I would of just paid for if I knew they didn’t give them anymore.

Food cold and tasteless, chips cooked and cooked and over cooked, delivery after phoning to find out were my food was, over 2 hrs.. never ever order again binned the disgusting food..
