I should have trusted the previous comments... I should point out that I lived in Paris and that I often enjoyed myself in very simple, unpretentious Asian restaurants, offering classic and popular Chinese dishes, yet with exquisite flavors, tasty, fragrant and refined. While traveling in Coutances, I ventured into this place for lunch. Already, the exterior appearance really doesn't look like much... but hey, I said to myself, I'm there, let's see anyway. Error..... Arriving at 12:15 p.m., the starters which should have been hot were already lukewarm, most of them cold. The spring rolls, visibly from the day before, ...recooked given their brown colors, soft and cold. Yuck..... Green salad: ugly torn and not fresh leaves, which normally, at home, we put straight in the trash. The chicken wings in donuts, lukewarm and soft, (like the rest of the fried foods), once the toast was removed, smelling it up close, gave off a rather unhealthy smell.... The noodles, the rice, almost cold, tasteless, except for a disturbing taste.. Cold starters such as tuna or corn salad: acidic, with no taste other than this horrible acidity... Let's not talk about the makis, pale copies of what you find in a good Japanese restaurant... and what's more, no choice of suitable sauces. Inedible whelks so rubbery... Mayonnaise, in a large unbranded pump dispenser, dirty...: acidic and tasteless. My tea had a strange taste of...blood?!? ...weird. Is this the water used? Or tea that is too old??.... I tried to taste everything: The beef samosas were the only starter that was drinkable...because they were still almost hot and had a curry taste. I haven't tried the wok... Brief. I would have liked coconut balls for dessert... but given their appearance, I didn't take the risk. I tried to finish with a crème caramel...which in the end was like the rest: disgusting. TO FLEE !! I understand why so many people who have not experienced real Asian cuisine often tell me: oh no, we don't go to Chinese restaurants, I don't like it, it's not good...
