Les Alizes - Courseulles-sur-Mer

On holiday with three male friends they have a gite nearby and recommended this restaurant for value and food. Had an excellent Prix Fixe meal, cheap beer and wine. Friendly and helpful staff, gave us an outside table on the dock and looked at...our all night. Very recommended in my series

A great sense of humor. Very friendly to help us find a way back from Juno Beach Centre to Bayeux when the bus schedule for the holiday has been changed. Went up and beyond to help us English-speaking Canadians and with good humor encouraged our... attempts at high school French. Enjoy the local Calvados Speciality Brandy! My wife and I dined here twice during our stay in this town. The €12 3 course lunch meal was very good and excellent value. Very good self service salad with about 12 variety of dishes. Faux filet with fries was tender and good...taste. On 2nd visit, we had €18.50 menu. Wife enjoyed Assiette of seafood and then both had wing of skate and capers with boiled potatoes. Dessert of Ile flotant. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

We visited this restaurant for lunch and was not disappointed, top quality food and excellent staff. The location is good, overlooking the marina. Lots of French eating here which is always a good sign of quality and price. Will certainly visit in the future.

En week-end à Courseulles pour la DDay Race, nous cherchions un restaurant sous le vent et la pluie...... On regarde les cartes des restos : du standard, du très bien mais trop cher, et les Alizées. sans être extraordinaire, cette brasserie de port a su nous séduire, avec une caret abordable et surtout un buffet de produits de la mer pour environ 30€ à volonté, rare! Après une trentaine de minutes d'attente (c'était plein, donc...) on nous place avec notre petit chien qui est accepté. Le plus pour moi, je n'avais qu'à me retourner pour trouver mon buffet : tourteau, crevettes roses et grises, petits huitres (petites quand même), bulot, amandes, soupe de poisson et divers poissons transformé, épicées, marinés..... et à volonté, je le redis..... Au final, un bon établissement sans prétentions et bizarrement bon rapport qualité / prix pour le littoral
