Fab relaxed and homely atmosphere with fab food, fab staff and fab service! Already planning next visit ...

Four of us visted on a Sunday. We booked in advance as often it gets booked up for the Sunday lunch carvery. We had a lovely Sunday lunch. Good portions of meat and of course you help yourself to the fresh veg. The staff were very friendly and i would definately recommend when visiting Barnard Castle. Have been to a few places in Barnard Castle and for what you get this was really good value.

Delighted to see The Teesdale Restaurant opening Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings again. Had a fantastic meal in a cosy atmosphere upstairs. The menu is very good. The pork belly was amazing. And a free glass of wine!

Me, my sister and two friends had a delicious Sunday carvery and would happily recommend having your Sundays lunch here. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is really good. So if you are visiting Barnard Castle we would happily suggest that you call into the Teesdale Restaurant for a meal.

The teesdale restaurant has a cosy warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service was excellent very attentive. I haven’t felt so comfortable somewhere in a very long time. Food was delicious and portions of plenty I struggled to finish. I got a bacon and Brie panini and it was very tasty. The chips that came with it are homemade and well cooked with salad garnish and coleslaw on the side. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back.
