Applebee's - Council Bluffs

TL;dr- server ingenious, kitchen badly slow, and eating cold. server have been revised, but very friendly. Problems seem to be in the kitchen. management (or our server) gave a discount without asking us so that was very nice. a meal has already been made new when it came out because our server noticed that it was not done properly.

We went in 15 minutes before the closure and they were still brilliant about it. the food was good and the beer was cold. our server was so great

The food was good, although lasted 45 min. the server was terrible. the waitress never checked us and was racist. on all the tables that were white, but we were a mixed couple with our growing children. had to ask another server for butter, after which I had asked when the food came. table of 6 those there were 10-15 min after us got food before we did. terrible service! I don't know if I will ever return to this!

We asked for an impossible burger and fried shrimp plate. Part of the 2 for 24 menu. We received our food, shrimp was soggy, all fries and onion rings were soggy and best of all the one thing we needed correct was the impossible burger. WE DO NOT EAT BEEF! We were served the wrong burger and now we are driving 9 hours home with a sick person. We do no appreciate the experience your establishment gave us. The team there kept telling us we were wrong. Well then why is our family member sick and throwing up??? Do not eat here, not worth the money. 3741 8th St SW, Altoona, IA 50009

They told us 15 minutes. Their was at least 8 people ahead of us. Next group walked in. How long 15 minutes. The girl told everyone 15 minutes and 30 minutes later we walked out and went to Cracker Barrel and they took us right in and they were packed there. This happens at every Applebees we go to.
