Le Carnotzet - Couiza

We visited by chance and had a superb meal. Greeted and served by happy, friendly Mum and daughter team. Lovely family run restaurant and we were helped to choose an excellent local wine. Recommended

We visit this area often however this was our first time eating here. Like others who have written previous reviews we were surprised by just how lovely the interior of the restaurant is. We chose the Menu du jour and thoroughly enjoyed it the food was outstanding and the service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return! Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

Dont be put off by the entrance as the restaurant is upstairs and the decor is light and airy. Personally I thought the menu choices were rather limited and the sauces were very rich and quite strong. It wasn 't clear that the set menu was only available at lunchtime. I was disappointed that the sea bass had been substituted for salmon and not some other more local fish. Entres in particular were quite pricy. There was only one other table occupied when we were there and the staff were very attentive I preferred 'A Table ' to thus place

We went there twice. The raclette is famous. Very good reception

Tres beau cadre de chalet suisse, nous avons pris la fondu pour trois personnes qui est tres bonne et l’autre oartie de la table a pris la raclette qui apparement était excellent, rien a voir avec ce que l’on peut faire ailleur.
