Bidrage med feedbackThis is some of the best BBQ I have had in a long time. The Brisket melts in your mouth, and the ribs fall of the bone. Perfect smoke rings and a great bark on the ribs and brisket. The sweet sauce was my favorite, and the portion sizes were great. The staff was friendly with a relaxed atmosphere. My daughter said dad I want to eat here everyday. I will definitely let my friends know about this place.
The fries were all over cooked. The kids pulled chicken was over cooked. The cornbread corn was mush. The rest was merely okay. The sauces weren't special. It was extremely over priced for a mediocre, order at the counter, seat serve yourself place. The cashier was friendly. But spending $100 for 2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 children was not worth it.Kid-friendliness: The food wasn't kid friendly. It was over cooked and unless your kids appreciate it that way, I wouldn't recommend.
The beef wasn’t as tender as I’ve had at other places. The potato salad is odd, I prefer a mustard base. The baked beans are very good. I like the sauce choices.
The BBQ sauce was disappointingly lackluster, lacking in flavor and excitement. The baked beans resembled cheap canned beans with just a faint hint of BBQ sauce. The Mac Cheese was excessively dry, resembling sawdust rather than a creamy delight. The food quality simply did not meet the expectations set by its price. However, the fries stood out as the best part of the meal, providing a satisfying and delicious experience.
I should have known this was going to be below average when we were there at 7:00 on a Friday night and there was only one other couple in the place. Unfortunately we’ve found that BBQ in St. Louis is just meh. We got pulled pork and ribs and it was just OK. I got beans and slaw, again nothing to write home about. For about $45 for two people it wasn’t nearly the quality I was hoping for. Still looking for that great BBQ place.
