Driftwood Cafe at Akuna Bay

Today, we took a drive to Akuna Bay and stumbled upon a gorgeous spot to have lunch called Driftwood Cafe. The view was simply breathtaking! We ordered a burger and nachos, both were served in generous portions and tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and even surprised our little girl with a complimentary baby chino. To top it off, we enjoyed a slice of cake and coffee to finish our lovely meal. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem in the future.

We always bring visitors here after a quick sightseeing trip to West Head. Cafe is great for either a coffee and muffin or a proper meal.

Had the barramundi burger. I've had a better fillet O fish at McDonald, for less than $30!! The flat white was milky as, hardly any coffee. 10% surcharge on Saturday?!?!? Why? Views are nice and it's quiet but this eatery really needs to lift its game. Disappointing

Peaceful, beautiful setting but the owner and staff are unhelpful and unfriendly. A real shame as this could be a great spot.

This is a cafe and you get cafe food. However it was tasty and fresh. Burger was a bit dry asd we didn't want mayo and they didn't add butter or ask if we wanted another sauce. It wasnt busy but we did wait a while for our meal (just 2 of us). It is so lovely and quiet here which is wonderful but not cheap when you add the $12 fee to get into the national park. However if you are heading here for the day it's not a bad meal given that they kind of have a monopoly!
