The Golden Cross Pub - Cotswold

A party of 12, including 5 vegetarian guests, visited this restaurant on a Sunday and were impressed by the attentive service. The kitchen staff, working in a small space, managed to produce delicious and hot meals. The portion sizes were very generous, and the restaurant could consider offering smaller sizes to reduce costs. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience and would highly recommend this place. The only downside is the limited parking available.

The staff at this restaurant was incredibly kind and helpful! We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights, which was perfect for us and also the most affordable option in the city center. While there was no parking on site (which is to be expected in this location), we were able to park near the local Tesco for a small fee and it was only a 5-minute walk away.

It was over when we were stopped in the golden cross. dog-friendly, this is for me, but understandably not everyone. eating was quick out of the door after our order, quite good selection at ales and with the kamin it went a great place to hide from the rain. when I'm back in the countryside, I'll make sure I'm back in.

Called for a light lunch and chose this pub from the menu at the door. friendly staff and a beautiful open atmosphere. rugby was up, but without taking over the place. the eating was good, with the clobig chips a highlight and the arkels beer was on shape. might have decided for the second game, but was under command to have a walk around chelmsford. doggy friendly.

Lovely pub, dog friendly including their own resident dogs. One of whom was an absolute angel with our 20 months old who adores petting, cuddling and kissing dogs.
