Mountain Mike's Pizza - Costa Mesa

In the pizza chain world, this place is elite. I got my pizza delivered so I cannot comment on the service or the ambiance. I got the McKinley and it was amazing. The crust was soft on the top with a crispy undercarriage. I also liked the generosity of the toppings and how they stretch it back into the crust so every bite is just as good as the last. It is a little pricier than your other pizza chains but I found it enjoyable nonetheless.

All I can say is yummy! Hubby and I came here after having a bad experience across the street at Pitfire and we're so glad we ate here.The mozzarella sticks were delicious and the pizza was phenomenal. Took a little longer than expected but was definitely worth the wait.

I'm at work today--Sunday--and we wanted pizza, so I called Mountain Mike's for delivery to Fashioned Island. Thank God they deliver! It got here and my coworkers LOVED IT! So delicious! And it was still HOT! Thank you guys! We got a large pepperoni. Worth every penny!! If you haven't tried this place yet, you are so missing out! I'd post a picture of the pizza but it was gone super fast!

We recently had lunch at Mountain Mike's, and tried their lunch buffet, which is essentially several varieties of pizza and a phenomenal salad bar. We were so happy to discover a truly quality salad bar post Covid. They're very hard to find, and this one is great. Very fresh, very high-quality toppings, and a large variety of vegetables. I cannot think of a better salad bar in Orange County when it comes to the quality of the greens and variety. The pizza was a choice of pepperoni or a white pizza. If you have been to Mountain Mike's, you know, the star of the menu is the pepperoni, and they kept small pizzas coming so you always had a hot, fresh, perfect slice. I did not try the white pizza, because I have a philosophical problem with white pizza, but that's a personal issue... The staff were attentive and friendly, and it is a large clean open space that is very aesthetically pleasing. I highly recommend Mountain Mike's lunch buffet, if you like good salads and pepperoni pizza, you won't be disappointed.

The pizza and wings here are fabulous. But there is a whole lot more. This place is a whole lot nicer than your typical pizza place. There are six large screen tv's tuned to the best sports games on at the time. They have a high quality selection of 10 different draft beers as well as a wine selection. Their salad bar is by far the best one I have ever encountered in a pizza restaurant with a wide variety of fresh veggie selections. Great food, upscale ambiance and a friendly staff make this the place to go when you are craving a pizza fix.
