Filomenas - Costa Mesa

I'm so glad we stumbled in this place! The food is delicious. The sauce has this classic, sweet taste and they give you a lot of it. The Cannoli is exactly the way I remember my nonna production. We even picked up olives and ravioli from the market because everything else was so delicious.

Small but comfortable, call for reservations. The staff is exceptional and the food is fantastic and the wine was excellent! Perfect for a date or dinner with friends. I recommend Filomena's!!

I rarely come to the OC (the county Costa Mesa is in), but I watched a show nearby so I stumbled on this little jewel. It is a very small restaurant and I did not make reservations before, but the hostess had my party of 4 sitting at the only bar for which I was super grateful. Our waiter was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu and sauces. He was very attentive, never letting our water glasses run out and asked us how the food was. You can say that we were not from there, but he made us feel at home and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, I got the pappardelle bolognese and my party shared the caesar salad and garlic cheese bread. The vanilla and strawberry sorbet desserts were also delicious. We will definitely return to the OC to eat here. Thanks for the hospitality and good food!

The best authentic Italian market and food with a Deli and Gelato.

By far one of the best Italian Restaurants in OC, home made pasta makes a big difference. If you’re looking for authentic Italian Food at reasonable prices, then this is the place to go. Wine selection was nice and diverse. Service was great, make sure to have a reservation bc kitchen closes at 8:00 pm and they’ve limited seating. We also tried their Tiramisu which I highly recommend.
