Bidrage med feedbackOn our arrival the manager seeing that my wife brings a little yorkshire says to the waiter The lady has a dog, put them on the corner. Mah! Anyway we see that the terrace is beautiful, we are on the sea. We enter hopefully and ask for a place on the edge of the terrace overlooking the sea, but the waiter tells me that the tables are all booked. We'll find out later that wasn't true. My wife asks for a glass of prosecco, we order two risottos and my cousin a dish of linguine with seafood, a fried of anchovies, a mixed fry and two contours, a 1/2 lt of wine in carafe and a bottle of water. Instead of the prosecco comes a degased bowl, the two risottos are made with parboiled, the linguine are seasoned with cold sauce from the fridge, the anchovies seem heated, the laminated frying. Business canteen equipment. Kind but inexperienced waiter, rude waiter. We ran without even taking a coffee. Account 107 euro. If you wanted a bad review, you earned it.
Every time we go to Paola we don't miss having lunch on the terrace of the restaurant Al Belvedere. We opted for a soup of mussels and abrupt mussels and clams, first spaghetti with clams and trophies with swordfish, eggplants and tomatoes, 1/2 liter of house wine and a coffee. All very good and abundant and a price in the norm
I returned to this restaurant, after 20 years, eager to taste with a little luck the dishes I loved as a child. The kitchen remained good, with some modernity notes in the facilities. The portions are abundant. As a Wednesday, the service was efficient, with just time between the courses. The staff is also friendly and attentive to the needs of the customer. The prices are in line with the structures of the area, but absolutely convenient for who is a good fork. Usually, when a customer spent enough and didn't ask for discounts, around here, there was the carinery to offer a coffee (I'm not an estimator of coffee, a custom that was perhaps disused. Detail that, for demanding adventurs, could represent a neo.

We had the “please” to stop for lunch, we were in four and we ordered two risottos to the fisherman, two trophies sword fish and eggplants, two frieds of anchovies. They spread everything for fresh fish, but nothing was fresh of everything we were served (not even lemon). The untied risottos, coloured water on the bottom of the dish and glue on the surface, not to mention the taste of crustaceans. The trophies, worse still, had a bitter aftertaste, boiled swordfish and also it of unpleasant taste. Needlessly we tried to cancel the order of the second dish. Fried anchovies to the taste of thawed water. We reported to the waitress the various problems and asked to speak with a manager; the waitresss answer, while listening, did nothing but do “faccette”. Unconsciously, don't be fooled about money rather stop buying a sandwich at the supermarket!!!! I gave a star because you can not give less!!!
