Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I brought my mom here for dinner tonight I may fifth. We left at approximately 8 PM. Our waitress at a table was wonderful.My dinner, which was the catfish was good. My mother had your chicken and dumplings, which was bland and super heavy which we know chicken dumplings is heavy. We’ve eaten those Cracker Barrel many times before tonight. But tonight it was a little sloppy.My great dosatisfaction when we went into the store after dinner to browse around for gifts for upcoming Mother’s Day, etc., and all I could keep hearing was the cashier named Kylie talking about a disaster in the bathroom, which by the way she was talking loudly obviously someone had pooped and it would not go down the toilet. And it’s not so much that it happened and maybe she had to mention it to get help BUT ITS THAT THEY KEPT TLKING ABOUT IT iand talking about it and talking about it and just when I thought they would stop Kylie brings it up again. I’LL BECAUSE SHE DOESN’T WANNA BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING CARE OF IT I GUESS AND THEY THINK IT’S A BIG JOKE. I DON’T KNOW. I JUST KNOW IT WAS GROSS AND SOMEONE’S WALKING AROUND WITH A FULL TUMMY OF YOUR FOOD SHOULD NOT BE SUBJECTED TO HEARING THAT. GROSS GROSS GROSS.Please remember my mom just finished eating so listen to Kylie. Talk about how much she doesn’t wanna go clean. The bathroom is really disgusting.

I love Cracker Barrel.The store always had the most interesting and beautiful items.The food was yummy but the Mac and cheese should have been hotter.

Today was busy, a little longer wait. Ordered fried catfish and the chicken dinner. ? then did a little shopping. I love this place.

Our group of 10 was easily accommodated. We were seated as a group, at 3 tables pushed together. The waitress cheerfully split the bills into 4 groups. It was a bit of a wait before the food came out, but not excessive for the number of dishes ordered. The waitress kept up with drink refills extra requests.The food was delicious. I think we managed to sample most of the menu. The portions were hearty, no one was left wishing for more. Speaking of hearty portion sizes the children 's menu items were like full size meals. One order of dollar size confetti pancakes was a stack of 3 plate sized pancakes. The meal also included a side of breakfast meat and toast.Adequate handicapped parking, although some of the aisles in the gift shop could be a tight squeeze for a wheelchair. Restrooms are spacious clean.

Service was mediocre at best. No chicken like I wanted. Food was luke warm.
