El Patron - Corvallis

My wife and I love eating food from El Patron (translates to 'The Boss ' in English). My wife 's favorite type of cuisine is Mexican and El Patron has the best, by far, authentic Mexican food that we have tasted. The staff are always very friendly and professional. The restaurant 's environment is beautifully warm and welcoming. The service is wonderful with the staff making you feel at home and treating you like family. The food portion sizes are very large and generous. You 'll always agree that you get your money 's worth when ordering food from El Patron. We will forever be returning guests.

First time eating here. They didn 't hear me come in so it took several minutes for me to be seated. Once that happened though, the waiter was very attentive. The chips and salsa appeared as if by magic. The salsa was particularly good. I ordered a quesadilla for an appetizer and steak fajitas for an entree. Both were really good with the fajitas come out on a smoking hot platter. Once finished I ordered a flat for dessert. That also did not disappoint. Great experience overall. There was one very, very annoying issue during my visit (that I can still here as I 'm writing this). There a worker in the back that is just saying 'Yeeeaaahhhh ' over and over and over again and you can hear it through the entire restaurant. It can be very tough to concentrate on your food when you hear that constantly. But...other than that, ill be back.

Awesome food and very friendly staff and atmosphere. The owner spared no expense on decor, it is very comfortable and everything looks immaculate. Food tends to be on the spicy side, but delicious. They have an extensive selection of tequila, the largest in perhaps all of Oregon. The bar area is very nice. Highly recommended!

Food was excellent. Generous portions. Margarita was $20.00, for a gold fish bowl full. Had to ask a friend to drive home.

Delicious hot fresh food !! Server was quick and very knowledgeable, and checked in frequently. Will definitely go again cheese cake burrito desert!! Was yummy
