A restaurant of this size always threatens with a bit of a cafeteria feeling and quality but the 5 torri is smartly managed. Seating and ordering are both done very efficiently and especially the cold appetizers come out very fast. The beef carpaccio was a simple but good choice and their bread basket is also varied and excellent. The spinach filled pasta with smoked ricotta was a very filling and tasty meal but their polenta dishes on a nearby tables also looked really appetizing. They also serve a very wise range of pizzas. Their house red wine was good accompaniment to the pasta but for a larger group ordering a bottle of wine surely ensures higher quality. The prices are also very reasonable given that this is in the heart of hot spot Cortina d’ Ampezzo with most dishes around 15 euros. For a quick but good meal, I wouldn’t hesitate to return here again.
