Executive Surf Club - Corpus Christi

Matt and cyler were absolutely amazing. great service! atm machine was down and could not travel for matt! but this young man was absolutely amazing that I saw how he worked, he is a great person he deserves a lot! He helps everyone that he takes food, he helps the bartender who helps him help the people here, he is an absolutely amazing person friendly!

I've been going to the surf club for many years, it's just as good as ever. the food is delicious I love the great selection of alcohol they offer! my child dog also enjoys the welcoming atmosphere live music. I love that it is a family-friendly environment, can also be perfect for date night or a casual night with friends.

Definitely a great and lively spot in downtown Corpus Christi. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Appetizer I ordered was fried pickles they were good. I had the classic burger and fries but I doubled up on the meat. My girl had the bacon cheese burger. The meat patties were good size, they didn't skimp on the meat, traditional fries were good too. In my opinion, they have the best mango and strawberry margaritas in town.

Usually I don’t post about negative experiences on review because I understand that sometimes things happen. However, this is not the case while I did enjoy the food and atmosphere it was ruined by one of their managers on Saturday afternoon. I am not from Corpus so I was really excited to try this place out. All of the staff were amazing with taking my order. They answered my questions politely and were super accommodating. When we received our food again great! It wasn’t until the middle of mine and my friends meal that a manger walked out and basically told us very brashly to move from our table. I didn’t realize the table was a utility table for a sound system despite the signs. That was my fault because I did pick that table but I simply did not see them. She comes up and points at them and tells us we have to move or when we see someone going through through a shed. Part of being a manager is to accommodate your guests and while I understand their need for the table she didn’t have to be rude about it. I get it, I work in the service industry I’m a bartender, been a manager. I understand the stresses of a busy restaurant. But the tone and words of this manager were not appreciated at all. After that, I told my friend I wanted to leave and did not want to spend anymore of my money at this establishment because of her. If she talked to us like that I can only imagine how she treats the staff.

Great food at a good price and friendly service. The live music was a surprise when I went but it was a welcomed surprise. Would definitely go back.
