Park Place Liquor - Coronado

Sandwiches were spectacular! custer service always at point. definitiw a place to stop if you need a fast delicious bite.

The first time a few days ago, because they have Pliny the older IPA. The store seems good for alcohol in stock and the store is clean, but I was just there for the pliny. Both the pliny and the sandwich are on the expensive side. The sandwich was 11.99 tax and the Pliny was 8.49 tax per bottle. Today I went to Boney's grocery store on Orange Ave. near the 1st street to compare and contrast. The Coronado Club was 6.99 tax and the sandwich was basically the same size and the same ingredients less the bacon. The Pliny at Boney's was 6.99 tax. The Coronado Club tasted with the special tomato sauce they use, even if there was no bacon. The Californian sandwich tasted good, but it was definitely not from a distance the price when a comparable sandwich at Boney's for much less. And 1.50 more per pliny is excessive IMO. So on the basis of the excessive prices, I will never go there again so that the one star.

Amazing every time!!!! The service is also great, although they are always weakened. Great Kahuna is classic, but with a sweet side!

Best sandwich in the west. The big Kahuna is the best combination of meat and cheese that could ask a person. I go back every time I'm in SD

It's not a place to sleep. It may look like nothing exciting, but if you are looking for a nice sandwich to have at the sea, this is a great option. Line was pretty good moving overall and there are a number of choices for pages in the fairy tale. The only reason I won't do 5 stars is that they should have a garlic aioli that lacked the garlic taste. Otherwise I would definitely look at coming back here. They even have a parking lot in the front and a few benches, but I recommend taking the trip to the beach to enjoy them.
