Il Fornaio Coronado

Our hostesses were great. We seemed forgotten about or it was just too busy for our waiter. He was nice but the only time he checked on us was when we had to get his attention. Our salt shaker was out of salt, so we asked for another. It too was out. We asked for another and we were brought two shakers, but both were pepper shakers. We quit asking. Our Sea bass was not worth the price. Expecting one fillet of a sea bass, what we were given was two, thin, small tail pieces of the fish. The view was nice.

Beautiful dinner for my wife's birthday, had eaten at this location before and the server was very attentive. We were fortunate to have the same server as we each remembered each other from the last visit. IIlya was again very attentive and a wonderful person ,highly recommended restaurant with a great staff , the food was delicious with large portions . If unsure what to eat or drink just ask IIlya as she knows the menu well, she is a great asset to the restaurant

The food was excellent. The service was slow to start. When I sit down at a restaurant I want a drink order to be taken very soon. Whether it's coffee at breakfast or a cocktail for lunch. Here we waited almost 10 minutes before the waiter showed. He was pleasant and the food was excellent, but the meal could have been much more. And when I spend $180 for 2 at lunch I expect more.

Always a nice dining experience at this restaurant, we sat outdoors next to the bay in the early evening and the ambiance was wonderful, they food was good but not fantastic. The service was outstanding as usual.

I was a little disappointed that the patio had changed so much. I have been going there for over 20 years and really loved the intimacy of the outdoor patio back in the day. It's way too lit up now and crowded as well as noisy. The view of our city is still spectacular!
