Bidrage med feedbackEhhh, it 's ok. I have trouble with a dining experience like this and trouble writing the review. The food was good, service also not disappointing but I won 't rush back.A Dining experience is all encompassing and it 's hard to feel good about spending $22 for a California burrito when my local Roberto 's sells the same thing for $9.50.Sure, I got 3 different salsas instead of the standard red green. But still no chips salsa, still with paper napkins...menu is so uninspiring, like a Roberto 's fast food with a gorgeous dining room. $40 for a beer and a typical burrito just doesn 't make sense. The menu prices are definitely paying for a mediocre live band that struggled from distortion and ear piercing mic feedback.Look at this picture on a Friday night at 9:20PM with live music and I can tell the community agrees. I know Coronado probably has expensive rent but this was not great value. Kudos to the cooks and bartenders for doing a good job with what you have.Owners may want to revisit the menu and focus on filling seats vs. a wildly inflated check average per person on common Mexican fast food with flare . Just my two cents... but my cents also don 't go far here so I 'll check out something else next time I want to spend them.
We went here for brunch while staying at The Del in Coronado. It was a mixed bag but with some minor improvements it could be great. The most important aspect is the food and thankfully Serea didn’t disappoint both the food and drinks were delicious. The location and ambiance is also very very nice, right on the beach. The service was not so great the wait was very long to get a table in fact we walked around Coronado for over an hour until we could get in. Once we were seated, the waiting game continued! Wait for the server 15 minutes, wait for our drinks 15 minutes, wait for our food 30 minutes, wait wait and wait some more!! The server was nice but also extremely pushy and trying really hard to oversell. I can truly say I have never seen in my lifetime any server ever trying to convince patrons to order so much stuff and to upsell as much as the server at Serea and it was uncomfortable and annoying. The last thing were the chairs and their stupid cushions. Come on Serea you are charging $28 for Eggs Benny you can’t afford better chairs and cushions?? These wooden chairs were so uncomfortable and the pillows which were supposed to be tied to the chair kept pushing through the gaps in the back of the chairs and falling on the ground. It was hilarious at first because it happened to every single guest and were picking each others pillows and handing it to the right person , trying to tie them back on , etc but after waiting an eternity for the drinks and food the uncomfortable chairs really got to us. With a few small changes this could be such a great place to eat, but as it is now…not sure I’d visit again the pressure from the servers is enough to keep me away
I'm not sure what some of these poor reviews are about but I can only speak to our experience being phenomenal. Food was some of the best Mexican I've had in a long time and my wife is picky!!! Service was fast and friendly. 3 guys were holding down the entire place. Highly recommend the chicken fajitas and Mole Poblano. Even the Michelada was on point...well done!
Good food and drinks. Great place to grab a bite and meet friends. Not so loud and busy like other places
Very disappointed. This restaurant is not what it used to be. Our meal was lukewarm and the service was very lacking. It was almost as if we were invisible. We watched the server help everyone but us. Very frustrating to be ignored and we feel that the money we spent here was wasted. The restroom was not clean and the supplies were lacking. A total disappointment and not recommended. Save your money for somewhere (anywhere) else. It was that bad. Also, don't bother trying to speak with a manager as it's not going to happen.
