Albaca - Coronado

Nice breakfast with the family. Service was good and the view was nice.

I was in a group of 6 in which half of us used the buffet and the other half ordered off the menu. All of the girls that used the buffet indicated that they would not have ordered it had they actually looked at it first because it was lacking in options for the $35/plate price tag. The menu items were very good but also pricey.

We went to eat at Marriott Del Coronado restaurant, my son was married there. My wife ordered Minestrone soup, they took a long time to serve and the soup was the worst food she had ever tasted in a Marriott restaurant. It did not even taste like Minestrone soup, she felt like it came from a can. We called the waiter, complained and returned the soup. The other dish we ordered was okay. We decided that we would not eat again at this restaurant. Very disappointed that a well known establishment would treat their guests like that.

I have been here several times. Always enjoyed it. I brought three friends this time and there were very pleased with the meal and ambiance, as well as the service.

Food was good. View is fantastic. I would Probably try a different place next time.
