Bidrage med feedbackShould have checked Trip Advisor and listened to my instincts when asked to pay before getting the meal.. always a no no. This could be a really good place, good location and the classic video games are fun. But I do baulk at paying £12 for a supermarket pizza and £5 for milkshake that doesn’t even compare to Nesquik. I know it’s been incredibly tough for those in tourism but no excuses for this. I just had to smile and leave knowing I’d been turned over good and proper chalk up to experience. Suggest you go one better smile as you walk past this one.
We enjoyed a couple of coffees at this place while soaking up the mise en scene of Mousehole. The gentleman who greeted us was full of smiles and mirth and we were made to feel extremely welcome. Coffees were just what we needed, my frothy iced latte affair pleased and my partner remarked the Americano was darned fine. The outside seating was well spaced but I feel the chairs had seen a bit of a rough weather spell! Worth a nip into if you are lurking around Mousehole.
Just a few minutes ago on Google, we decided to stop by this restaurant for cream tea after a delightful visit to Mousehole. When my father ordered his cream tea, he also requested 2 teas instead of coffee. However, the unpleasant male owner brought out the cream teas with tea and also brought out another 2 teas, claiming that it was what my father had ordered. We tried to explain that we did not need that much tea, but he did not seem to care and it was clear that he had deliberately added the extra teas to the order to make more money. His customer service was terrible, and he even complained when we asked for a glass of tap water for my son. It was a disappointing experience and it unfortunately tainted what had started as a lovely day. The scones were not very tasty and my mom even found a hair in her clotted cream. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The owner is rude and tries to scam customers out of extra money for unnecessary items. Please do not waste your money at this establishment when there are plenty of other wonderful places to eat.
The waitress who served us made us feel like we were a huge bother. She was not helpful or polite. I am used to receiving better service in London. There are many other options in Mousehole, so I suggest looking elsewhere. Additionally, I noticed that the roof is caving in.
I recently visited this wonderful cafe that serves locally sourced produce, homemade pizzas, and delicious meals. I brought my family, including our dog, for lunch and we were warmly welcomed by the friendly owner and his charming and polite son. I highly recommend this cozy cafe and would love to come back again. This place is truly a hidden gem and deserves an A+ rating.
